You will find it hard to sit quietly for more than 2 minutes if you are like me. And most of the practitioners propose using meditation for effective affirmations. So how do we reach the same meditative state and practice effective positive affirmations?
There is a way, and I am going to share it with you. It has worked wonders for me, and that too without sitting in meditation. The trick is simple. What we need to realize is that we ultimately want ourselves to be receptive to these affirmations.
What's that one way you could get into a meditative state? Here is the answer: Listen to a song, not just any song, but a song that has made you cry. There is always a song or a piece of music that will take you to this highly receptive emotional state.
Play that song, close your eyes, and hear it with your heart. You will know when you are ready for the next steps. That's when you affirm what you want to change in your life situation. Even better, if you wear those affirmations while practicing them. Why not try "I am worthy" affirmation? You know you deserve all good things in life.
